Women of ALPFA

History of Women of ALPFA

The Women of ALPFA program was started in 2002 by visionary professional Latinas with a purpose of creating opportunities for professional Latinas and empowering Latinas through leadership skills, training, mentoring and career advancement. The Women of ALPFA network was launched at ALPFA’s 2002 National Convention in Orlando, Florida at a Women of ALPFA leadership breakfast. This annual Women of ALPFA leadership event brought together all of the women leaders of ALPFA from across the country and provided them with opportunity to network, meet other successful women in Corporate America and empower them to continue to develop their leadership skills.

Women of ALPFA Vision

To inspire and develop Latina business leaders to break barriers, achieve life and career aspirations and celebrate their unique Latin culture.

Women of ALPFA Mission

To develop Latina business leaders by providing Best in Class educational programs and creating opportunities for them to demonstrate leadership, network and influence others.
