I would like to personally invite you to participate in ALPFA’s 36th annual national convention to be held at the JW Marriott Resort in Phoenix, Arizona from August 10th to the 14th, 2008. This is our first time back on the West Coast for a national convention since 2003, when it was held in Albuquerque, N.M. Our organization has grown significantly since then and we are expecting over 100 companies and 2,500 attendees to participate in our 2008 convention. This results in more opportunities for our corporate sponsors and convention attendees.
I would like to thank Deloitte for their leadership in serving as the Lead Sponsor for the 2008 national convention. They will be working very closely with ALPFA in the upcoming year to exemplify the “Rising Power of Latinos,” which serves as our theme for our national convention. We continuously challenge ourselves as an organization to deliver expanded programs and opportunities for all participants during the national convention and the 2008 convention will deliver just that.

This is our first time back in Orlando for a national convention since 2002, when it was also held at the Contemporary Resort. Our organization has grown significantly since then, however, and we are expecting over 100 companies and 2,500 attendees to participate in our 2007 convention. This results in more opportunities for our corporate sponsors and convention attendees.
