| The Women of ALPFA program was launched nationally in 2002, at the ALPFA Annual Convention with the purpose to create opportunities for professional Latinas and empower Latinas through leadership skills, training, mentoring and career advancement.
Through its diverse approach in addressing women initiatives, the Women of ALPFA program also creates a forum for discussion on overcoming cultural and gender-based barriers. The program has expanded to our local chapters, and today we celebrate the second annual event in Chicago. |
